Lady Fi

A few weeks ago, the sun was shining

And the diamonds danced on the snow.

A perfect day for a walk with my furry buddy, Oscar.

This boat has been adrift

On the snowy landscape all winter.

Our neighbours placed their impressive gingerbread church

Outside for us – and the birds – to enjoy.

Walking down twisty lanes

I spied a vibrant splash of colour in someone’s garden:

An old red pump.

On the way home, we crossed the railway lines

In time to see the train disappearing

In a magical golden mist.

I felt as if I were living out a dream

In this enchanted winter wonderland.

It seemed that there was no end to what could be explored in…

Deepest Thoughts On Our Legacy

In The Fall

I shot this photo many moons ago using my first real digital camera. It was a 5 mp HP, and it only had a 3x zoom lens. It was a great learning tool. I snapped over 85,000 photos with it over a few years time. I like the moodiness I presented in the photo of the old dock which was on the shore of Stewart Park in Ithaca, NY. I used Jasc Paint Shop Pro to do the editing. One of my favorite muted color photos.

December 22 – January 19

The only way to get through this day is with fifteen cigarettes and a sheet cake.

January 20 – February 18

God made dirt and dirt don’t hurt, unless you’re buried 6ft deep in it. But then you’d be dead so it still wouldn’t hurt.

February 19 – March 20

Only someone with nothing to be sorry about smiles back at the rear end of an elephant.

March 21 – April 19

FYI: “No Wuckin’ Furries” is a less vulgar derivative of “No Phuckin’ Worries”.

April 20 – May 20

Your duck’s goose is cooked.

May 21 – June 20

Though a hippopotamus has no sting on its tail, any man would rather be…
